Appointments 2020

Can confirm, was posted on our official class page this morning! I can't wait to welcome more people to our family, and of course, GO ARMY! :)

@nikkip I accepted my appointment a few days ago, will the facebook page reach out to me or is there a page/group I should request to join?

@k$Mom -
If your child goes to West Point, I would suggest that you consider getting on FB. WP loves social media as a way to communicate. There is a West Point FB page, In addition to the page for for the of Class of 2020 parents, there is a FB page for West Point Moms and one for West Point Dads, which are great avenues for information and support. There are many FB sites which are West Point related. One of my favorites is West Point Moms Bake - where you sign up to send Boodle to deployed soldiers once a month. The WP Parents Club in your state may have a FB page.
FB is just a great communication source if you have a cadet or future cadet.

And some people avoid FB and other forms of social media for any number of good reasons. @k$Mom: You will not miss anything you need to know by not participating on FB. Actually, because cadets are adults and West Point does not require any form of parent input or participation, there is actually nothing you need to know. The information provided on the academy's public-facing web page is sufficient for basic event/date information, if you even feel you need this:

The FB pages are for social interaction, advice, tips, photos, support, community, etc. but are totally optional and not necessary if you do not feel you need or want any of those things.
