Is it a bad sign if i'm still "Complete Pending Review" and admissions never requested my 7-Semester transcript? In what cases do they request that extra semester? I am currently still waiting for a decision from both USMA and USNA and have completed overnight visits at both academies.

It is not a bad sign that they did not request a transcript. Typically they do not ask for it. IMHO they ask for the transcript if they have questions on your academic standing and want to make sure you have maintained or improved your grades.

If you are still in the game at this late date, you are still in the game. Good Luck!

I emailed my counselor to ask if she would like for me to send it in and she said sure. If you think it would help your file, email your counselor.

My DS did the same thing and the counselor said the opposite "we do not need it" A month later he got his TWE. YMMV.

It's March 25th....way too late to even do this now....very very unlikely to make a difference. The only way a 7th semester transcript might help, at this point in the process, is if you are placed on the waitlist.

Admissions asked for 7th Semester grades late Dec, early Jan. DS had a 4.0 so we wondered why. Then we realized that they were probably looking for Calculus and probably wondering about some other AP's and he had taken 4 AP's and Calculus 7th semester. He did get all A's. He then got his Appointment on Mar 4th... So it can go either way. If they ask, it doesn't necessarily think they think you can improve or you are on the bubble academically, in his case they simply needed more info. If they didn't ask from you, then I would think they had what they needed and you're still in the game. Good luck!

Thank you all for your input. I received my rejection from West Point this morning... hopefully good news will be coming from USNA.

Same here, although I noticed that West Point required the transcript as of Jan 1 and mine didn't show up as missing until recently and the class was out of space by the time it was entered. As for Navy, they did have my transcript but did not change the date of the HS Transcript section to reflect this so I had to make a phone call to admissions to straighten it out. Keep in mind that my college councilor automatically sent out my transcript in January (so not sure why West Point missed it).
