Army waiver denial

I tried to enlist in the army last year my medical waiver was denied in september i did pass the physical and asvab at meps my medical condition is called kallmans disease and i take testostrone shots every 2 week my doctor said i coukd stop taking these meds at any time and ill be okay is there any way my waiver could be over turned or anything else i can do the army was and still is my dream profession

Hi Adambaldera20-- try posting this question in the DoDMERB forum.

I do know that all waiver requests from a Service Academy are reviewed on a case by case basis. You would need to have a doctor state that your condition has resolved and those shots are no longer needed. Caveat - I do not work for DoDMERB/Waiver Authority nor am I a doctor. My comments are based solely on personal experience with DoDMERB/WA.
 
I would also suggest the mods move this thread to DoDMERB.

Two suggestions.
1. if your name is adam baldera, I would suggest you change your screen name.
2. Understand that the requirements to enlist or go the officer route can be different, and for DoDMERB the exam is valid for 2 years.
