This is my first post on service academy forums although I have read a lot of them just never ended up making an account. I am still cpr and am just so eager to receive an email with any info. Any of you guys have some helpful info that I could use as of cpr still?

Also CPR. Just look forward to each day and have hope. There's so many statistics but no one really knows what's going on inside admissions, besides admissions. There are still appointments left, don't give up the ship!

Also CPR. There are a few appointments left as sarahhhee said, but there is still Prep School spots and i'm sure there are some Foundation spots left.
I'm not too aware of the foundation, I only know of NAPS, what is the foundation?

College student Re-applicant out here in SoCal, still on CPR as well. Hoping for the best! Talked to my B&G the other day, he said that in the last two weeks there as been a mass exodus of rejection letters sent out from Admissions. So if we're wait listed or still on CPR it must be a good thing! Positive thoughts y'all!! And I hope to see you at I-Day 2016!

Just turned down foundation. USNA 2020 or bust.

informe, I think you mean "United States Navy (USN) 2020 or bust" ?

Right?

I thought if he turns down the Foundation offer (which is offered because a straight Appointment to the Class of 2020 is not possible) , *that is it* for a USNA Appointment ?

I read a post where you stated his Plan B was a NROTC Scholarship, which would make sense for 'USN 2020 or bust' ?

Is he *also* on the Wait List ? If he received the Wait List Email any possibility of an Appointment would occur only if there was a slot that opened up due to a declined Appointment from another person?

I am confused on this.

I thought to decline a Foundation offer was to decline the USNA?

Informe, did the BGO talk to you about Foundation? Ds's BGO made it clear that if Foundation was offered you needed to jump on it. Unless you decided you aren't interested in USNA at all anymore?

It may sound a strange decision. But getting held back by a year was a little hard to digest even for USNA. I said USNA 2020 or bust because still on the island. I am sure because of the foundation turn down will get the TWE Monday. Plan B is 4 yr NROTC in 3 good universities. I guess get to enjoy 4 years of regular college before the adventure begins in the navy. We have to make a decision at some stage and this is it. Fingers crossed for a remote USNA offer in the next 4 weeks.
