USNA STEM Camp

Has anyone received their acceptance for this summer? My son was lucky enough to attend last year and re-applied but has not heard anything in regards to this summer. We understand he may not be fortunate enough to attend "2" summers in a row but he still has his fingers crossed. He is really hoping for NASS next year.

DD applied, still waiting to hear but applications don't close until Friday. We live in NoVa and her brother is a plebe, so it would serve no "marketing" purpose for us. Fingers crossed...
 
I was just curious because I believe my son received his acceptance last summer during the first week of April.

DD was accepted a month ago for session 3. My son attended STEM only once but applied all three years. Don't know if kids can go more than once, or not.
 
Well I'm guessing he will not be fortunate enough to attend 2 years in a row. We knew this was a possibility but he loves the USNA and was hoping he would be attending again this summer. Good Luck to all!

Did you hear back already?
 
No we haven't but just making the assumption since some have almost a month ago and with consideration that he had already attended camp last summer.

Hi! Has your son applied to the SAME camp at the USAFA? My son was not accepted last year to the stem camp but was accepted to SAME which is run by all branches of the military. He had the experience of a lifetime! Something to look into if you haven't already
 
My son attended last year as well. He's a freshman now and was hoping to attend again. I know it's not promising :( I will have him look into that SAME camp. Thank you!

You apply to the SAME camp through your local SAME post. Good luck!!
 
Has anyone else heard anything? We are still waiting to hear.
 
Not yet here in Maryland for my DS. He was in the waiting list last year but didn't make it. Looks like very competitive here.
 
Maryland is one of the most competitive states because of the location. Hang in there!!
