Hello!

I have a 4 year Army ROTC scholarship, and have some second thoughts. I am a freshman who is not finished her first year of college yet, and I am looking to disenroll from the program. Is this possible? The second semester is not over yet. Also, will I have to pay back the full year? Please let me know.

Thanks everyone

You need to talk to your cadre about these questions...you can leave the program, and you have up until the first day of your sophomore year to leave the program without having to pay back. Set foot in class this fall and you will pay back if you chose to leave the program. That should have been made clear when you went over your contract before you signed it.

So if I straighten everything out before the school year, I will owe no money/service time for my freshman year of college?

C. Cadet Obligation
(1) CADETS. I understand and agree that I will incur an active duty and/or reimbursement obligation after the first day of my MS II year (sophomore year) if I am a three-, four- or five year scholarship recipient;
