My daughter take Biology in her Freshman year and now is taking Chemistry in her Sophsmore year, question: is this enough for the 2 years of laboratory science West Point required?, did somebody get accepted with this courses, or they need to take a 3rd year of this?, she is already full with AP for next Junior year, and is making her schedule of classes for next school year. Thank you.

Two years of a lab science meet the minimum requirements. My son had 4 lab classes during high school.
My advice is to add a lab science during her senior year. Physics would be a good option since she will be taking that class at WP.

My advice based on having 1 at USAFA and 1 soon to be at USMA is to look into AP Chem if it is offered. It can be a really tough course but it really prepared son 1 for Chem at USAFA. He thought his high school class was every bit as hard as the 1st year Chem classes. Chem is considered one of the plebe killers. Also, Physics would be good choice as well.

They dont have AP chemistry, but they do have AP Physics and AP Environmental Science, that I think she will want to take, she will be Majoring in International Studies, so she want to fullfill requirements but is more interested in her courses Major related ( English, Foreign Languages and History), plus studing for her AA degree in College at same time.
