How will we find out the respective family day and graduation info? Do many parents attend?

While I'm okay with missing this, my wife wants to be there when DS graduates. I would have given him the cash to make up the difference from him not having his summer job.
BUT, happy wife = happy life. So, we will be going once we get the dates.

Truer words have not been spoken.

CIET was not a thing when either of my sons went through ROTC, both attended LDAC.

We attended my older son's LDAC graduation only because we lived 45 minutes from Ft. Lewis. I remember we arrived, sat in the stands and watched them march in for formation, a couple speeches and it was over. They had some displays set up after the "Ceremony" for guests to see with their cadet. All my son wanted to do when they broke formation was to get out fast and get something to eat. We didn't stick around for anything.

Fast forward to our younger son, he participated in the Last LDAC which was held at Ft. Knox, after seeing the first one it was an easy choice not to attend, son gave us the same advice. We used the money toward a trip for the three of us to Hawaii to visit the older son, money well spent.

We did however fly down to Ft. Rucker for the older son's Flight School graduation and will attend the younger son's Flight School graduation. I have to admit even that ceremony was quick and easy, although I was not going to miss pinning on his wings.

Here is a link for the dates - CIET and CTLT - Maryland173 is a reputable Reddit user.

Very few parents attend.

The day before graduation is generally family day. You will have very little time with your cadet. Maybe try to compromise and put the $ toward a long weekend somewhere with your cadet later in the summer as a real vacation. You could probably confirm the family day date on the Cadet Command facebook page.

The dates in the link are incorrect for CIET! Use the facebook link.
