hello! It has been a couple months since I've applied for 2016 NASS, and I forgot which workshop preferences I selected. Is there any way to find out beforehand? Thanks!

I doubt it. Even if you do manage to find out beforehand, there's a good chance your classes will be switched at the last minute anyway. I wouldn't sweat it.

You can pretty much attend whichever workshop you want. They'll give you a list like the 2nd or 3rd day after you get there but a lot of people went to different ones because pretty much no one got what they signed up for. Some people didn't even get a full set of classes.

You will find out a around Sunday when you arrive what workshops you will be attending. Not everyone gets their first choices, because of the logistics of ensuring all the workshops get candidates (not everyone gets to do damage control, sorry). We strongly discourage candidates attending a different workshop than what their are assigned to, because this presents a accountability issue for the leader of each work stations and overwhelms resources at different work stations.

Though no worries, every candidate IS assigned a full set of classes. We would not give a candidate a partial set of classes since we wouldn't want them missing out on a part of the experience.

In my experience, your order of preference is basically thrown out the window anyway. I know that I put introduction to literature dead last on my preference list and yet there it was on my list of workshops. Don't let this be discouraging though, even intro to literature was a good workshop because the instructor was really cool (former EOD) and he let us fire away with questions about pretty much anything for an hour.
