What are y'alls thoughts about the civilian internet and the cost that is attached? Will you personally be taking advantage of this or is it not worth it?

At an appointee luncheon for our state's appointees and families a few mentioned they were excited for the Internet and when I mentioned the expensive price I got four or five resounding "dude it is so worth it." 100% of the cadets there said it will be worth it.

From what I understand, the basic (5 mbps) speed will be charged to everyone no matter what, but then if you want the faster speed, you'll then have to pay extra. I could be wrong, but this is my current understanding of how this is going to operate.
