Hey guys, for all of you who will be attending the Citadel this fall, some soon-to-be knobs and myself have started an informal class page on Facebook called "The Citadel Class of 2020." It's just to get acquainted with other students, find out who's going to CSI, meet fellow Bulldogs in your major or who live near you, etc. It might make Hell Week just a little bit less hellish if we go in knowing some people. Go Bulldogs!
 
there is usually a facebook page for the parents of each class, all the battalions and some of the individual companies also have pages

catdubai = just one word of advice: Once you report in mid August, do not post on Facebook or other social media - it is likely anything you have to post will be read by both upper class Cadre and the Commandant's Department - all looking for inappropriate comments. Yes.... you have free speech rights - and all the consequences that go with them. Good Luck!!
 
Excellent advice for anyone heading off to Lexington as well- anonymity is a trait not to be undervalued when you show up in August!
 
Yea that social media stuff does get many in trouble...first year and years after. If you are looking, rest assured others are too...worse thing they ever done was allow cell phones before recognition day or at least till all settle in good.. IMHO
