Hey all, I had a question in regards to the mailing system at USMA during Beast. Can we send mail direct to other cadets? Or would you recommend sending the letters to our parents/guardians and then having them send the letters to fellow cadets? Thank you all.

Just outta curiosity, wouldn't it be easier for us to just hand off any letters we have?

You can drop mail into the slot...no one cares who it is addressed to. If you have a buddy from home going to WP, you can see him/her at chaplain's time and just talk and chill.

Write your friends if you have the time. Even if you hand off your mail to cadre to put in the mail slot for you, they won't care where its going. They're just going to go drop it off and move on to the next super busy thing going on in their life that day.

How do we address the mail? Is it:
Cadet (name)
P.O Box (number)
West Point, NY (zip code)

Write the zip code as 10997-xxxx where xxxx is the cadet's PO Box number. (ie PO Box 1234, WP, NY 10997-1234)
