I am currently on a GRFD in AROTC. I intend on doing an internship next Summer before my completion cadet semester. Many employers although legally they cannot discriminate are less inclined to offer you a full time job knowing you will be gone for BOLC for an extended amount of time. I have some preferences, but for the sake of my future civilian career I would lean towards shorter length BOLC branches. As the Reserve/National Guard force grows this is becoming a bigger issue I hear echoing amongst many fellow cadets that I hope in the future cadet command could address more directly. I was hoping someone can enlighten me on each branches BOLC length? If you have a link that is more official then what I am finding currently that would also be greatly appreciated.

What if the shortest BOLC is for a branch you absolutely detest? Seek the branch that you will find most fulfilling and satisfying. You will do well at it and thus become a better officer.
If a potential employer is going to not hire you because one BOLC is longer than another, then I would think twice about how receptive they are when you get called to duty. There are many firms out there that welcome the experience and leadership qualities a military reserve officer brings to the table and are willing to wait for the training period to get you.
The only two Branches I would suggest not selecting if you're concerned about time is Aviation, you could find yourself at Ft. Rucker for up to 2 years, and Ordnance w/ EOD, that is a long training process as well.
Other then those two you should be able to work out the schedule with your employer, for AD Infantry you would move straight to Ranger School, for NG you Ranger School is not as automatic.
Like others have said, don't select a branch just because of BOLC length (Except the two I mentioned above) You may want to select a branch that meshes well with your civilian career if that's an option.

That is a good point. It won't be the deciding factor, but will help me narrow down my options since my major doesn't cross over well into any of the branches.
