Hi, all! I am wondering if the state of record noted on the AROTC Scholarship application, means that they will expect you to be "in state" , with "in state" costs, for colleges in that state. We are in a situation where we are, for purposes of tuition, "out of state" in our home of record, so if my son is awarded an AROTC scholarship will they still pay "out of state" tuition?

Thank you!

Home of record is what it is. The AROTC scholarship pays full tuition to whatever school it is awarded. There's no connection between the two.

Thank you so much!
Your son will be expected to list a school within that same state, however, it does not even need to be a state school, it can be private, and public schools will need to be listed, but they can be out of state. Good luck with the application!

No problem with that. Thank you for your help!
