Hey all,

Thanks for helping me. I am going up for my AFROTC pilot slot next semester and was wondering what everyone thought of my chances:

PCSM: 52
GPA: 3.2
FT Rank: DG
PFA: 96
Commander's Ranking: Top 1/3

Those are my stats, i'm also a math major if that adds to anything.

Please everyone comment their thoughts, I want to hear from everyone!

Thank you!

ABM it is.

Jk. Good credentials. Only thing you can do now is boost that PCSM score with flying hours. If you don't get it don't fret. A RPA guy got bumped up to a pilot slot a semester before graduation. Nearly the same credentials as you (but with a lower PCSM score!).

Do you know what range his pcsm was in? Thanks for the response!

Have you taken your TBAS? How are you going to rank your list? The question is which way do you want to go if you don't get pilot? Do you go CSO or RPA with the hopes that in a couple of years you can xtrain and go to UPT at that time?
~ JMPO, but I would think if that is what you want to do, than CSO would be a better path, but CSO you really only have the F15E if you want that fighter role. You have much higher chance of a heavy. Whereas, with the RPA you are in that bombing factor. However, the flipside is the RPA world has a pilot shortage, so bad that they are pulling heavy pilots into the RPA world for 1 tour. Chances are low that they will allow an RPA pilot to cross change.

Personally, although you are below average on PCSM by about 14 points, your det & FT rank help make up for it. I like your chances overall for pilot.
