.......And Football Hasn't Even Started

I agree. I think Chris Carter may be the best option regardless, as he seems more multi dimensional, and when he played the passing game opened up, but it sounds like he may be prone to injury, and is recovering from injury right now.

The academies are unique in that the beginning of junior year everyone has to really assess the commitment to the service, and if you are a top level athlete who knows he/she could opt out now, and transfer to a traditional college, that is the only time you can do it, so they ponder that option a lot more than an athlete would at a traditional college. I suspect that was the deal with Bradshaw on Affirmation day. Fortunately, most kids who attend academies have thought long and hard before getting to the academy, and know how hard it was to get the appointment in the first place. This is true with athletes and non-athletes alike. They have so much already invested in their decision to attend an academy, and by Affirmation day have already completed Beast, Plebe year, and Yuck year, with only Cow and Firstie year left (when they finally have some rank and privilege).

Im hoping this will be a good year for Army football, and that we end the streak by beating Navy. Its my son's Plebe year, so he insists this is the year. Maybe Bradshaw leaving is for the best. Time will tell.

He's baaaaack.
It has been reported that Bradshaw returned to practice on Wednesday.

USAtoday article is incorrect. Why they made that false reporting statement I have no clue. Its seems the media has a difficult time with its credibility and hides behind the curtain of the First Amendment.

Bradshaw did in fact affirm, he is starting, and he is at WP to stay! Its a talking point with Cadets and faculty at WP.

Meh. I'm hoping this is the comeback year for the Wolverines. Go Blue! Beat Everyone! ;)

The USA article wasn't incorrect at the time. Bradshaw left - but came back.
"After talking with numerous people, teammates, mentors and family, Cadet Ahmad Bradshaw had a change of mind and attended class this morning, and has now officially affirmed. Would ask if you can please advise everyone he is now back on the team." ~ LTG Caslen

...Cadet Ahmad Bradshaw had a change of mind...

Hopefully the tactics used were within the Geneva Conventions. ;)

To be technical, no one out-processes that quick, so more accurate title would have been "Army quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw likely to leave West Point."

Army football has been looking good on the practice field. Bradshaw has a lot of talent and I'm glad he is back in the game.

Maybe, just maybe.......this will be the year!

It will be sooooo cool if we win this year; my sons first at West Point. I will be at three games minimum, and probably add the air force game too. It's an 11+ hour drive, so I hope we win a few.
