When I was a freshman in high school, I took geometry and English honors. However my sophomore year I took algebra A which is one below honors, and this year I opted into the level one below AP for Englihs. However I have taken the highest leveled classes in my school for History and Science i.e. AP Euro, AP US and AP Physics. Is this OK, it's to late to change it at this point, but I will be taking more AP classes next year. I do currently take Spanish 3 if that helps.

As you'll see over and over on this forum, it isn't just one thing like the classes you take that make you competitive for a SA. It's the classes you took, competitiveness of your school, your GPA, class rank, varsity sports, leadership experiences, etc. The list goes on and on and the competition is tough.

You can't do anything about classes already taken, but if your goal is a SA you should be taking the highest level classes you can, especially math and science, and do well on them. Don't worry about the past, or anything else you can't control. Just make the best decisions going forward to get you to your goal and be prepared with backup plans.
