Falcon Scholarship

I have just learned about the Falcon Scholarship and now a brief summary of it and have also looked into northwestern prep can anyone tell me if there is a similar scholarship for the USNA or the USCGA and if offered a scholarship does that obligate you to attend that SA after going to a prep school. Also can you expla more details about the Falcon scholarship and how to obtain it and requirements and such. Thank you.

Also if you need a scholarship to get into schools like northwestern prep, can you just apply and get in or are you required to obtain a scholarship by a SA

USNA and USCGA both have similar programs (USNA Foundation and USCGA scholars if I'm not mistaken) with non-academy prep school scholarships. If you have a scholarship, you're essentially committed to that specific academy, so don't take the scholarship if you're not planning on eventually accepting an appointment.

Don't need a scholarship to go to NWP (or most prep schools, for that matter.) Falcon scholars are fully qualified for USAFA appointments but just fall short of getting in, so all you need to do is apply to USAFA and wait. If you're a good fit for the program, they'll let you know.

If you do not receive a scholarship to a SA but get accepted into a non SA prep school like NWP can you still get into a SA with chances greater than normal?
