ROTC CULP 2017

Hello everyone,

I have a few questions regarding my CULP application.

First, my likelihood of getting CULP. I put no preference because I will go anywhere the Army sends me. I have a 3.16 GPA in my Political Science major in a well respected school, a 3.56 ROTC GPA, a 272 on my last record APFT, and I also have 1 semester of college Spanish under my belt and consider myself an intermediate speaker. I'm also on a 4-year scholarship, and have a CaC card so I have passed security clearance. I'm also an MS2...how does my application look? Thank you.

Second, the preferences of types of mission. No where on the application does it allow you to choose a mission type, only a mission location, do cadets not have that option to choose? Please let me know.

Third, which location has which type of mission. I know the countries listed, the amount of teams going there, and the 3 types of missions, but which one's have which?

I'm also wondering about these questions!
 
If you are contracted and applied before the deadline then based on your stats you should have no problem ! Good luck. I cannot answer the other 2 questions .
 
Having a CAC card has nothing to do with a security clearance.
 
I just found out that DS, who has taken many years of Spanish chose Africa on his CULP app. :confused:

One of our sons spent a month in Liberia on a CULP mission last summer. They housed them at the same resort where Michelle Obama stayed. He was struck by their kindness and eagerness to learn. He loved that aspect. He hated the malaria pills.
