How are we notified?

Do we only find out on Bears Den or do we get a letter as well?
 
I believe we are emailed when the decision status is available on Bears Den, then we can go to bears den, open the application, and view our letter digitally. I don't know if they mail a copy of the decision.

Wow. Congratulations. We didn't even know they did phone calls. Did DS have an interview with this admission partner?

Yes, he completed her interview, but initial contact was during a Congressional Academy Night the end of her Sophomore year. She consulted with him several times over the past year and a half.

Maybe this means the first board's decisions will be out soon? Let's hope!

Congratulations! Must be a good feeling! I wonder if there are more news coming out soon then.
 
@jage3, I remember reading that your DD submitted the application very early... like august. By any chance, do you remember when you received the email from CGA saying it'll go to review board within two weeks? We got that email just about two weeks ago, so we're trying to figure out the timeframe for ours. Lol

Email was received Oct 11th. This isn't 'official'until notification shows up in Bears Den, but will keep everyone posted!

Yeah, we are hoping too. He had his whole package completed mid-Oct so we have some waiting to do since my DS did submit for EA. The application is complete and awaiting Final Review from the Board as indicated in Bear's Den.

DD received an email today from coach confirming offer of appointment. Nothing in Bears Den yet. Good luck to all :)
