NJ Nominations

October seems early for anyone from New Jersey to hear anything. In the past our Senators haven't given out their nominations until late January and the earliest congressional nomination I had seen from our state was early to mid December. Ours didn't issue nominations until late January.

Did NJ 12 even interview yet?
 
I think they have started as my son called them to see if they put down their new SA roadshow dates for NJ12 yet and said not until interviews are finished
 
My DD in NJ-11 had his interview this past Saturday November 12th. They held interviews on Sunday also.
Glad to say he did get a nomination and check mark on his portal, it appeared on Tuesday the 15th.
He is also doing a overnight November 21-22.
 
My DS is in NJ-11 had his interview Nov 12. on the Air Force portal it says nomination received. But received no other confirmation letter yet.

Does anyone have any ideas about when the Senators are going to release nominations? They interviewed in early November, but no one has indicated expected dates for decisions.
 
What kind of panel did your DS/DD come up against

NJ Senators wait till the deadline. NJ Senators last year notified nomination recipients just before the January 31 deadline, around January 29-30. The previous year they notified recipients on Feb 2. Last year, Bookers aid said they were going to try to make their decision by early January. That did not happen. So I would not expect to find out until very late.

Rejections letters may follow by mid to late Feb.

Does your screen name "Falcon " indicate in any way an association with St Josephs in Metuchen ?
 
NJ05 came out last Friday - I received an email from Garrett's office but I believe HIS was quicker (than I anticipated at least) because he's on his way out
 
Another hopeful Dad in NJ7, anyone got their nomination in NJ7 yet? Anyone?

We are in NJ7 and nothing as yet - 12/23/2016
