USCGA 2021 Appointments

Very sorry to here that. You can try again next year. Or get college degree and go OCS. But you are not alone. Only 18% get in. My DD applied RA. If she does not get an appointment she has a plan B. Still. Non of this can take away the emotions you are feeling now.

Virginia Tech's #1 nationally ranked college of natural resources and the environment told me to call them if I don't go CGA, so I'll apply there soon. It is just so disappointing I have been putting so much effort into this for over a year and none of my statistics or extracurriculars or anything are below average by any means. Just so disappointing..

If someone receives a position on the waitlist for the academy, do they have a chance at placement at prep school then or how does prep school appointment notifications work? Any clarifying information on this would help, thanks :)

Hi, does it specifically say you were waitlisted for CGA or CGAS?
