My daughter received 6 nominations in total this past week: 3 West Point, 2 Air Force, 1 Navy. On average, when is the soonest each academy starts appointing and when is the latest? Patience is NOT my virtue...But this process is teaching me some.

Late January to mid-Feb typically for sizeable "first wave" of appointments from USMA - comprised of principal nominees and "clear vacancy winners."

USNA could be anytime. Most appointments go out from mid/late Jan to late March. Remember that applications close for USNA Jan 31st. So depending on how a slate is submitted by a MOC (ranked, unranked, principal) admissions may be waiting on others to make WCS determinations to determine winners.

Wow! That is a heckuva lot of nominations! Congrats. I know that USNA has started sending some out (my son was nominated 11/28 and appointed 12/23). He was top ranked on the MOC's USNA slate, so that may have sped up the process. Hang in there. Sounds like your daughter is an impressive candidate.

There is a post in the USNA thread that lists appointments by those in these forums. Check it out

The USMA Deputy Director of Admissions recently stated at an Admissions Brief that appointments should go out between mid-January and mid-/late February. Congratulations to your daughter on her achievements!
