Hello, I saw that the SAT will be held on January 21, 2017. My question is should I just go and take it or not waste my money since the scores will be here until like February which is already past the deadline?
 
You'd have to read through your applicant materials to see the deadline for submitting new scores. If memory serves me right February is too late, but if it's not and you can think can raise your scores then by all means do everything you can to improve your chances.

Yeah it says "received by January 31st" so nope.
