NJ Nominations

Senatorial nominations have not yet been released. They'll probably be released closer to the 31 Jan deadline.

I received mine to USAFA for NJ-12 (Watson Coleman) on 8 Dec.
 
I merged the New Jersey threads into one. There is no need for multiple threads for the same state.

Much to my disappointment, my kid got the "I regret to inform you..." letter (NJ-7) 1/7/2017. So, if you are waiting in NJ7, letter should be coming soon.
 
My DD said that a friend heard from Menedez about a nomination for Merchant Marine Academy. Do they send them out according to Academy or all at the same time? My DD has heard nothing.
 
Our senators call all of their nominees. Last year Menendez sent out "regret to inform you" letters mid February. Nothing from Booker.

Do you know if your DD's friend received a call or through the mail?
 
My DD received a call from Sen. Menendez on Thursday, not mail yet .

Just received a nomination from NJ-04 (Chris Smith) for USMA, no call yet but just noticed it on my portal. USNA was my first choice on the nomination packet but USMA seems to update things on the portal quicker so hopefully I get one for there as well. Will keep you guys posted.
 
CONGRATS!!! We are waiting to hear from Chris Smith too. you have not received a letter or call?
 
No letter or call yet, just noticed it on the USMA portal. Most likely because it is still school hours. Best of luck, beth4kids.
 
I received a nomination from Chris Smith (NJ-04) to USAFA and USMA last week. However, I have not received a letter or call, just a portal update
