CFA

So I took my CFA again. I have not heard if I passed on the first one but what do you think about my scores?

BB- 50
Pull ups- 2
Push ups- 38
Sit ups- 56
Shuttle run -9.0
Mile- 8:28
Those look much better than first time.

Your BGO can (and is permitted to) tell you if you passed. Your RD (Admissions Counselor) can as well. I'd wait a couple of days after your proctor submitted the scores to check with your BGO b/c there could be a bit of a delay in processing.

Congrats on the 2 pull ups. Your run time is slow and, if you're admitted, you really want to improve it because you won't pass the PFT at that pace. Also, you will struggle during PS.

I would also work on sit ups. The best way to improve is to keep doing them. You will get better. You'll want to do around 80 in 2 minutes -- several weeks of doing them daily will get you there and then you just need to maintain.

Two pull ups! Way to go! Keep running! I suggest doing push ups, sit ups and then going for a two mile run. It will help your body know that you can do exercises and then run. On your training runs, try breaking it down into periods where you sprint/run a little faster--maybe for the straight part of the track, maybe from one lamp post to the next--this way your body will learn that you can run faster when you need to do so. Good luck! Lovin' those 2 pull ups. You should be very happy with yourself for that accomplishment.

(Do you have a sit up bar on the door to your bedroom? They are very inexpensive and available on Amazon--you can have one in two or three days. Then you can do sets of 20 or 30 a couple of times a day. This is a trick that helps. Make it easy on yourself to do them all the time.)

Hello! I am applying the naval academy and was told my scores were not qualifying a week before the score are due.
My scores:
Basketball Throw: 55ft 6in
Shuttle Run: 10.8 sec
Pushups: 35
Situps:65
Pull Ups: 1
Mile Run: 9:46

I am a female at 5 foot 4 and 152lbs. do you think these scores qualify? I'm upset about my run because i know I could have done better but with such short notice it was hard to get back up to wear I usually am. This is not an excuse and I am not trying to make an excuse but do you think I have a chance?

You only need to ask the question once. I deleted your other 7 posts which were "copy and paste" of this post.

Who told you that the scores were not qualifying? Your BGO? Admission? If it was someone official, then nothing that we say will change that. Get busy doing better before the deadline. If it was just someone else's opinion, then you should check with an official source to see if you passed. Just my opinion, but your mile time is very slow and would be the most concerning.
