Good evening everyone,

I'm currently an enlisted Marine and I'm not sure how to format the CO endorsement. I asked my COC and they're just as lost as I am. I tried using the one online but I'm still lost. Does anyone have their format or endorsement letter?

There is a senior Enlisted in Admissions dedicated to helping fleet applicants. I suggest you follow up with him/her. Quickest and best source.

@Gbp328, not sure if you have called as @usna1985 suggested yet. Here is the thread I started back in August:

http://www.serviceacademyforums.com...-applications-to-the-u-s-naval-academy.50784/

The current message pertaining to enlisted Sailors and Marines applicants is here:

http://www.public.navy.mil/bupers-npc/reference/messages/Documents/ALNAVS/ALN2016/ALN16054.txt

Paragraph 7 has the contact info for the Chief. Don't just email him, because he could have transferred or is taking holiday leave. Call the number as well, on Monday.

Reference C of that message is the current (dated 1994) MARINE CORPS ORDER 1530.11G, APPLICATION FOR
NOMINATION TO THE U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY AND NAVAL ACADEMY PREPARATORY SCHOOL - it is here, with samples as enclosures:

http://www.marines.mil/Portals/59/Publications/MCO 1530.11G.pdf

Read the order and the enclosures carefully.

I imagine your CoC expect you doing most of the research and the work to put your application together because you are, and want to be a leader. Print out the documents at the link, read them, and discuss with them. I sincerely hope there are competent Marines in your unit that can help you. Hurry! Time is running out!

You need to get hot. Best of luck!!!

@NavyHoops anf @Hurricane12: I don't speak Marines. Help?!

Thanks big dog. The MARADMIN was expired when we were doing the research. Either way, I got it done and signed. Mailed it in yesterday.
