Another Waiver Question

The first time I attempted to join the military was with the Airforce in 2014.
As I went through the medical questions with the recruiter I answered Yes to the question about spinal curve/deformity (scoliosis)
The recruiter told me to get all the records I have from it and get current X-Rays done for it. My initial X-Ray in 2011 revealed a 17 degree thoracic curve and a 13 degree lumbar curve. I thought I was in the clear since anything above 20 degrees would be disqualifying. The recent records for that time (2014) revealed that my scoliosis has improved to be around 14 thor And 10 lum. I waited for my records to be looked at and 2 weeks later I was "Permanently Disqualified"for kypho/scoliosis. I tried to get an explenation but the recruiter never gave me one and dropped contact with me. I decided to go try out college. Its about 3 years later I have my associates degree and I want a break from college and want to join the military. I tried to join the Airforce again and took the ASVAB and scored an 85 on the AFQT
Then they told me I needed to go get new xrays done which I have
The curves at this time are
THOR-8 degrees
LUM-5 degrees
But then after my recruiter sent up my records I'd wait for 2 weeks and the cmo will keep responding with "need more records" or something is missing. This continued for about 2 months then I decided to go try out the army.
The army flew through the process and had a day for me to finally go to meps. Then the morning of, the meps here cancelled me from going because the Airforce recruiter I worked with in 2014 put in a wrong code or something that signals that i had heart surgery with a stent in place and never fixed it. This was erroneous and after I got that sorted out the army re-sent my records and meps took a look at my medical waiver and disapproved it because of "symptomatic scoliosis". The reason behind this is because my first xray in 2011 had the reason why these xrays where taken on it, which was because I talked to my doctor about minor discomfort from sitting in the school desks (I'm very tall at 6'4 currently and those desks werent made for my height). So now the Army recruiter had me to go get a doctor's opinion on my "sypomatic scoliosis" and both doctors i visited did tests on me and said I was asypomatic including no pain or discomfort in the note. (I have a hard time understanding how general discomfort from sitting in a school desk can DQ me). The branch recruiter (the one that is in charge of all of them at that office, im not sure what they are called) put them in my records and sent them up to meps again. Can this help the cmo to take another look at my waiver? I'd hate to wait 6 months to try again and I still am very highly motivated to join the military.

If you have symptoms caused by scoliosis you can be DQed. Since you are asymptotic, you can get a waiver, if the decision authority grants it. A current evaluation should help your chances.

To the OP:

Just as a note....other than the great reply @MohawkArmyROTC (who is an Army ROO) gave you, you are getting very few responses because this forum is focused on commissioning programs including Service Academies, ROTC and OCS. It is not intended as a enlisted military information forum.

This forum is probably not your best choice for a MEPS information resource.

Good luck!

Thank you for the response,
I have got a current scoliosis evaluation done, and included it with the doctors notes in my most recent medread that they sent to meps. The measurements are still 8° and 5° currently.
I have no negative symptoms relating to scoliosis, I weightlift and run 5 days a week with no pain. I understand its not as simple as just saying that, But this is what really want to do in life.

Yeah, I realized that soon after I posted this.
But the only responses elsewhere on the internet i received where just "you're S.o.o.l" which wasn't to helpful.
But thank you :)

Try to find a physician who has a military background to get an updated evaluation. Such a report may help your recruiter obtain a waiver for you, as @MohawkArmyROTC surmised.
