I applied to USMA and USNA, was medically disqualified for navy due to color deficiency. I received principal nominations for both. I received a letter around 3 months ago saying that my waiver was not approved for the color deficiency. Today I was contacted by my districts congressional office and told I will be offered an appointment on Monday to USNA, which surprises me because they must have looked over my waiver again, saw my multiple letters of recommendations from former marines, and read my letter stating my intent to branch marines and approved my waiver. I have never heard of something like that happening before but have to say it was a reminder that the process truly isn't over until the end.
