Yes, we are very thankful to have some further insight and #2 is closer than #10 for sure! Her RC has been very candid through this process with her and they have built a good rapport.
 
Any more news for TN?

DS just checked portal... still CPR.

Wondering if anyone else has received word on way or the other?
 
I received 3 nominations all to AFA. I'm from district 2 (Knoxville area).
 
My understanding is a round of AFA appointments came out today. DD still waiting, haven't seen or heard anything from TN.

Got a call from DS from school... TWE came via email. He's talking reapplying after semester of college. Plan B it is.

Good luck to your son.

The bright side is that tomorrow he turns 18; at least it didn't come tomorrow.

Good Luck to your son as well. It hurts today but its not the end. Plan B for now and reapply, and if still no he says he will go in after college. Only a "speedbump" he says.
 
I have nominations for USMA and USAFA from district-8. And just got 3q letter from USMA couple days ago .Have not heard back yet. And I haven't seen many TN appointments either. Hopefully results come soon.

Good luck! You son's future is bright. It will take time and he has to be able to understand that the criteria for selection is different and no one knows the magic "it" factor. He will have to evaluate if he's going to stay the course, I have heard on the forum that he is still open for a falcon scholarship and the prep school appointment. I read that they will come several weeks later.
 
So it's been awhile since checking back in with fellow Tennesseans! Where did everyone land and anyone else getting back on roller coaster for Class of '22?
 
Teragram, I am also interested to see where our fellow Tennesseans landed. My DS is an upcoming Junior. I have been watching the forum in the shadows since he was in the eighth grade trying to soak it all up. We are district 8.
 
Just FYI - USAFA Admissions is planning on coming to Memphis Sept 5-9 for a road show for potential applicants. The details are still being worked out, but it will likely include AF ROTC discussions as well. Congressional staffers will be invited to attend and the target audience will include North Mississippi candidates/prospective candidates.

Doesn't directly address the OP's question, but.....

Thank you for the heads up! I know my DS will definitely want to attend. I'm assuming the USAFA website will probably have information on where and what time closer to the date? Thanks again.

DD is headed to Marion Military Institute next week as a West Point sponsored prep cadet and as long as nothing "major" derails her this year she will be halfway through Beast this time next summer :) We are district 5.
