March Madness SAF Bracket Challenge 2017

I have a Duke and Kentucky final matchup. Who would've guessed Nova's exit? Go Blue Devils!!!!
 
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood......bye-bye, Duke!! :yay: Hope Carolina is the next team on the bus heading home! I think I'm a South Carolina fan now! :thumb:

Unfortunately, having been a big Duke fan for years before my DS went to South Carolina, I did not pick the Gamecocks to win. They were supposed to lose. It says so right in my bracket!!! That being said I'm thrilled for them and since no one else in central NC picked them to win, the win itslef didn't hurt me in my bracket challenges. It's all relative!
 
My bracket is killed because I had Duke winning it all the way, playing against Oregon.
I actually had Wisconsin against Duke for the sweet 16, but losing to Duke.
 
Jayson Tatum was in the same HS class as my DS. Good kid, well grounded and focused. I'm normally not a huge Duke fan but I was cheering for Jayson to go deep in the tournament this year. But that's it, one and done for him...NBA lottery pick and millions of $$$ on the way next...
 
Tarheels baby! We bleed Carolina Blue in our house even though DD wanted USNA. Thought my other half would have a heart attack last night. Lol. Definitely not Duke fans but hate to see them out.
 
My Bracket has sent me to the nether world, but considering DS1, DD1, DW(1 and only), and my brother are all Bruins, I gotta say GO UCLA!

That's why I always have 2 or more brackets with different winners in each. A small price to pay for the thrill of being involved! BTW - In one of them I bet my heart... in the other I try to be as cool, calculating and cold blooded as I can be. The latter one usually does the best.
 
I bet always by my gut or the mascots for the 1st 2 rounds, and than the calculating one starting at the sweet 16. I still have KS, NC, KY, Gon along with Wisconsin and OR for next week...not great, but you know there is always next year.
 
I'm winning after the first 2 rounds. I will enjoy my moment at the top of the list, because it won't last long. I have Duke winning it all. So I should find my bracket sliding down the list as the tournament progresses. Great tournament this year with no clear favorite in my mind.
