Awaiting Appointment/Denial

There's an old sailor motto that says, "You can't adjust the wind but you can adjust your sails." The admissions process to the academy or any other highly selective school is simply a numbers game. Everyone who got this far is highly qualified, but only a certain number can be appointed. There's no reason to fall into a dark hole of despair or to doubt your accomplishments or abilities. Chin up, and get excited about plan B! What are your plans dausthemouse?

LMU in Los Angeles offered me plenty of scholarships so I think I'll go there next year. I'll for sure pursue NROTC in the area and I'll reapply for USNA next year. And if the app goes south again, no worries! Whatever happens happens.
