I just want to wish everyone who is CPR good luck in these last few days. No matter what the outcome is, everyone should be proud of making it this far. There is no failure here. Success in life will never be defined by where you went to school, how long it took to get there, or how you got there.....it is defined by never giving up!!! Whatever happens this week, let it be the driving force to your success!!!!

I keep telling myself that the reason I'm still CPR is because admissions is having a hard time making a decision on who to appoint. If they didn't want us, we would have gotten TWE's by now. The way I see it, CPR this late in the game means you are competitive!

Agreed!

Rlmilitarymom, I'm also from Nevada. District 2, around the Reno area. Just so you know, I'm aware of 2 USNA appointments in the area, one being 4 houses down from me (what are the chances! He's a friend of mine and well deserving), and a student at a high school nearby. I'm currently CPR for USNA and USMA, although I've received an appointment to USMMA. Good luck and stay positive! The wait is killer.

#3 is heading to Italy tomorrow for almost two weeks. I do not think he is bringing his laptop--and because I am a mom with rules, he does not have an iPhone or anything that connects to the internet to bring with him. It is possible that we won't know what happens until he returns to DC.

DrMom!! What? I've been sticking with you for weeks!! You can't leave us hanging like that! Get the kid an iPhone!! Lol!

Thanks for the update. We are from NV District 1 (Clark County). Do you know if the two from your area have accepted? We heard from a BGO that three appointments were given out in Feb, but they have not accepted yet, (waiting for other SA appointments). Congrats on your appt to USMMA. Did you ccept to it or are you still hoping for USMA & USNA?

Our son was DQ for a fractured foot that happened last August, but has fully recovered and waiting for a waiver. He is still showing CPR, so we are keeping the faith.

We are hearing that April 15th is the day all CPR candidates will be notified.
Thanks again for the update, good luck, KEEP THE FAITH and GOD BLESS

DS is CPR in Florida. What are these other prep schools I hear about other than NAPS?

No...really...we lived abroad and these wonders were unknown to us...so it has been Trac Phones since our repatriation--it keeps them out of trouble. #1 got the iPhone for finishing Beast--he did not have a chance before R-Day, #2 got an iPhone before he started college...Last week #2 said, "You are mean to not give him an iPhone before Italy--he could take pictures"--and I asked #3...'Would you like me to get you an iPhone for Italy and the rest of your senior year?" He said, "No. I've got this."
I have been so faithful about not being in his business, on his portals, or anything more than, 'Did you check your gmail today?'--the answer to which is always a slightly disgruntled, 'Yes, you don't need to ask.' Maybe there are internet cafes? What will be crazy is if he receives official correspondence in the mail while he is away. It will sit on the mantel calling me until he returns.

I'm fairly certain that they have both accepted. I am waiting until April 15th to accept the USMMA appointment. Best of luck to your DS, CPR is a special type of purgatory!

Your "purgatory" comment made us all laugh! Best of luck and again, CONGRATS!

Just tell us the measurements and weight of the envelope, and we wil provide you our best guess what it is. :D
