Someone please tell me this is "Fake News"

Wow...what an idiot...

Not sure he is a SEAL though, might be a SWCC sailor, a member of the "SEAL community" but not a BUDS graduate and Trident wearer.

That being said, he also looks a little old and fat to be a SEAL, and while we're at it, old and fat for the adult movie industry as well...:)

Do a little digging and you'll find several pictures of him: SEAL trident on the blues, and even in his CPO chevrons...a career SEAL.

I found an article that had a picture of him in Service Dresss Blues... wearing a Trident. Texted a buddy of mine... said he is a SEAL. Even SEALs age like the rest of us.

Edit - cross posted with flieger.

I didn't want to do too much digging, if you know what I mean...this is my company iPad and I might get myself in trouble...:)

The one picture I saw in the original article I couldn't see the Trident...and it made mention of him at a SWCC event...

Hahaha. I was terrified to google the guys name for the same reason!

He does, unless they send him to the brig in Charleston, have a TAP plan in place to transition into a new career field...the men can go along time if you know what I mean...I think Ron Jeremy is still alive and well in the business...:)

Hello,
A little late on this thread. I was looking through this part of the forum because I was just curious. Didn't think I find this. I am an incoming freshman at VT seeking a commission in the Navy . Just a curious auestion: is it against regulation for an adult entertainment actress to be near a military installation, or have military personnel interact with them? I'm asking because I live near Jacksonville, NC and there is a Gentlemens club down from a Marine Corps installation and it has those actresses once a month. My brother-in-law who's in the Marines said that on those night it's packed. He said he reconginzed some of the cars from base.

As long as military folks don't break civilian laws and military regulations, they are fine.

Now, underage drinking, doing something to discredit the uniform if worn, well, there is a whole range of stupid choices that can be made that can get people into trouble under the always useful "conduct unbecoming," "failure to exercise good judgment," and other slightly vague-on-purpose articles of the Uniform Code of Military Justice used for administrative conduct hearings.

There are WAY worse venues of adult entertainment in overseas ports, and way less tame ways for military folks to get into trouble. Those sea stories of mine, and many others here on SAF, would have to be so heavily redacted to achieve decency that it would look like blobs of black ink everywhere. They usually start out with "well, let me tell you about one of my guys, you will not believe this, but he/she..." Much empathetic hilarity will ensue.

Suffice it to say, if you become a junior officer, chances are high one of your sailors, or even a fellow officer, will supply you with your own sea stories.

It is quite common outside major military bases to find a slightly shabby strip mall with liquor stores with old-school cocktail lounge attached, pawn shops, military payday loan lender, tattoo shop, bars, and adult entertainment venues, as well as wing, pizza, chicken and Chinese take-out, maybe a barber shop.

Capt. MJ, You know full and well these rumors or sea stories of which you refer have to start out as "This ain't no s÷€% boys". If it isn't started that way it's just another fairytale. With that said, I would never believe that a person representing a branch of the U.S. military would ever bring discredit to their respective branch on purpose. I cannot either confirm or deny the presence of debauchery at this location nor my participation.

Every base I have seen has a healthy dose of strip clubs, pawn shops, bars, tattoo shops and dry cleaners right outside the base. And those strip clubs keep in business because of the military members who visit them. Not against the rules to visit, it would be the other items Capt MJ mentions that would get them in trouble. As a young officer there were always I dreaded... 'Lt I got married this weekend to ...' if it was followed with stripper or high school student I did a face palm. And yes it happened all of the time. Probably 1/4 of my platoon was married to one or the other.

And what we have in the states is nothing compared to what overseas was like as Capt MJ mentioned. The stories are tall and for the most part partly true. I can't tell you the amount of times I thought... 'it must be true because no one would make that up!' The military isn't perfect, nor its members. If anyone thinks they are joining and won't deal with crazy issues you would never think of as a young officer, think again. As a young JO you will spend 90% of your time on 10% of your people.

I drive by that particular Gentlemen's Club fairly regularly. I often think of dropping in but the wife will only let me take quarters with me so I figure, why bother.

Pity the poor Adjutant that has to review this case. I do remember that the commander put all clubs outside main gate in Jville off limits for awhile. It did change it for some time.

As someone who spent 2 years as the Adj for my CO, the amount of amazing investigations I got to read were endless. The good part... it got me out of actually doing investigations. Then again my CO was assigned by the General to conduct one (tells you at what level someone screwed up). To this day I still laugh at some of the investigations we had to do.

when it comes to Conduct Unbecoming investigations, nothing tops Tailhook in '91...

One weekend of debauchery, sponsored by the defense contractors, with time off and free flights to Vegas provided by the USN,

followed by more than a year of investigations and dozens of destroyed careers up and down the chain.

it's not always the troops that get into trouble...
