I'm an active duty Marine stationed in Okinawa Japan. Is it odd that i haven't gotten any word of acceptance/rejection yet? My Blue to Gold Officer said I should get word soon, but reading these fourms it seems like everyone has found out except for me.

hmmmm, don't know what to tell you. Most on here went through the civilian route, as I understand from most of the posts, I'm not sure how the process works for AD military...

I will say - hang in there!

There is a fleet liason at USNA. Contact admissions and request to speak with him/her.

On a positive note, the first due date for acceptance or declination was May 1st, so the next wave of letters should be going out shortly based on the number of declinations that were received...

My son is civilian, and he has not received anything by mail regarding his status. His BGO told him he was on the waitlist for NAPS on April 13.

Good Luck and Hang in There!

i got a conditional offer from NAPS providing my medical is completed this morning via email from admissions.

Congratulations!! The Navy personnel at DODMERB were very helpful--let us send info for remedials by fax/email.

Congrats! It's so great to hear good news. Best of Luck!

Congrats MARINE!!!

Get on the medical right away, and make sure you send them an email letting them know that "this morning" is night time where you are. You don't want them thinking you are taking two days to do what they gave you one day to do.

Your room mates are going to be fortunate to have a prior service Marine with them. Many of your classmates are coming right out of High School and won't have the advantage of prior training. You have alot to offer.

Semper Fi !!!
