I do not have asthma. But I had bronchitis a few times when I was younger and was prescribed 3 inhalers for that from 8-14. Never diagnosed with asthma, just given inhalers to clear up some congestion. My recruiter said since they were just inhalers, it shouldn't be a problem. But recently, I went to a new doctor for a physical who asked about my history of inhalers and I explained my situation that I do not have asthma and I haven't used my old inhaler in over two years, but she completely ignored what I said and prescribed me an inhaler anyway and told me "I insist, just in case because it sounds like you have controlled asthma." Did she just mess everything up for me? Because i'm 16, does this mean I disqualify because inhalers are considered "treatment for asthma" and i'm much older now?
