Do you and the doctor you see discuss the answers from your medical Questionnaire? Is there a time when you can explain your answers?

The physicians may vary a bit, but my son's experience was positive.

In 2015, my DS was assigned by Concorde to a solo practice MD who clearly had done DoDMERB exams for a long time. Very in tune with what the requirements were. No staff or secretary, so she scheduled appointment via email which was a little frustrating. However, upon arrival, the exam was completely focused on what was on the questionnaire and the Dr. making sure that DS did not sabotage himself by "over answering" the questionnaire or using the wrong verbiage.

So in our case, the doctor did discuss the questionnaire.

Good to know, thank you!

Yes, as I recall, there was some brief discussion on various points on the medical questionnaire while my DD was having her DoDMERB exam. She brought no additional records or documentation with her. Even though she had written an explanation about an allergy, she and doctor discussed it for clarity.

My DS is a candidate for USAFA and USNA. He receiced an email from DoDMERB stating he was eligible for med exam and would receive an email from another email from Concorde i. 2-3 business days. That was a week sgo. He emailed his ALO and hasn't heard back. Has this happened to anyone??

Did you happen to check the Concorde Website to see if info is posted there? I found that they would update it and I wouldnt get an email about updates until a day or two later. Another option would be to call them directly, I found them to be very responsive.

Double check your email inboxes-look in your spam box too. When you get it, go to the website through Chrome! If all else fails, email Concorde.

WhitMom4, DS received an email from Concorde titled "Applicant Approval Letter", which gave him the information for logging onto the Dodmets website to schedule his medical exam. Two hours later he received an email from DoDMERB indicating that he was authorized to take the medical exam, and he would receive an email from Concorde in 2-3 business days. LOL, at first he was a bit confused but figured out that he received the emails a little out of order.

JD. Thank you! Later that night, my DS found the email he was waiting for in his "junk" folder. First tome HE experienced that with emails. He has since taken his physicals and is awaiting the results. Thanks for following up.
