Good Morning. I'm new to this site and I'm sure this question has been asked tons of times so I apologize in advance. My daughter recently was DQ because of asthma. She received a medical waiver for additional testing. We completed that through our doctor and set in all the required forms. As of 8/22/17 it states 'Date Exam Reviewed' on her site, and now states... R250.5 'Pending Waiver Review by AROTC' and her status still states 'Pending Waiver Submission/Review'. As you can imagine we're anxiously awaiting their results. Question is, wasn't it the AROTC that reviewed the exam on the 22nd and if so why haven't they posted the status? Or, any idea how much longer it will be for results after they've reviewed the exam.. or even could this be a sign of even more needed? Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Thank you so much for the clarification.It is Pending review by the ROTC Doctor (the "waiver authority"). The first review was by DoDMERB to ensure the information was complete before forwarding to ROTC Doctor. DoDMERB is a clearing house for the information.
I apologize, this is all new to me, but what is an "SA"?Keep in mind they will grant the waiver if they can.
Unlike the SAs where the medical review is part of the selection process, it does not factor into the ROTC award process.
Your Daughter has been selected, they will try to keep her.

Just to be clear with your terminology, after the DQ, your DD received a remedial, which is a request for more information/testing related to the asthma.
