How does a typical day of plebe summer go? As a candidate I am just curious as to what actually happens on the daily at PS.

Days are both typical and atypical. What does that mean? At first, everything will seem different/unusual/confusing, etc. -- at least for those who've not done NAPS or boot camp (prior enlisted). You don't yet know what "typical" is b/c it's certainly not typical based on your experience.
After a couple of weeks, there is a certain routine. Most days it starts with PEP. Then there is a series of evolutions in morning, afternoon and evening, broken up with meals and sports period in the afternoon. Everyone does the same thing over the course of the summer, but different companies/platoons do these activities on different days. Some of the activities include: O-course, confidence course, rifle/pistol qualification, sailing, damage control, marching, honor lectures, validation tests, uniform fittings, room cleaning and inspection, introduction to watchstanding, swim tests, and so on. You have to march (or otherwise travel to) each evolution, which takes time. Each meal includes chow calls, formation, and the meal. There are some "fun" activities too, including bonfires, a trip to a minor league baseball game, maybe "swim call" (swimming for fun), etc. Pretty much every hour of every day is scheduled -- plebes typically have free time on the Yard Sunday morning.
