Due to some slight hiccups with my general educational plan, I was a bit behind the curve for this year's application, and only filed my preliminary on the sixteenth. Unexpectedly my ACT scores came out today, the eighteenth, and were much better than the SAT scores I included. Should I email my regional admissions officer with the updated scores, or just leave it be and hope for the best?
Thanks

I was in the exact situation as you are now about three months ago, I called the office and asked. The counselor said to send them ASAP and your preliminary app will be updated. I was granted CIS access about two weeks after my scores got there.

Thanks y'all, I just emailed them and I'll see when the scores will get sent. I suppose either way I'll get an answer in a couple weeks

I took SAT 3 times this year but never sent official score to USNA. I recently sent the latest and highest score to USNA. I plans to continue to re-take SAT at least 1-2 more time.
Does USNA required me to sent all SAT scored I took even though the scored is lower than the one I recently submitted? Please advise?

You submit whatever scores you want. However, USNA and the service academies in general do not count it against you if you have submitted some lower scores. They superscore anyways, and showing them your continued attempts at improving your score can only be beneficial to you.

Can't hurt to send the scores to USNA , with official scores to follow. However, it really doesn't matter if your initial scores were good enough to qualify as an Official Candidate (ie. if you were given access to the application portal). No one is going to look at your interim scores until your application is completed and package submitted to the Admissions Board.
