Marine Corps Option .... App Done ... now?

My son just completed all requirements for the first board....his qualifications are:

1. 4.0 GPA in advanced classes, AP. Etc...
2. All Detroit Catholic League in BB, and Captain
3. 2 time State Champion in Golf, and Captain
4. 3 time All Detroit Catholic League in Golf
5. Honorable Mention All-State Golf
6. National Honor Society , VP
7. Student mentor program leader
8. 100s of service hours
9. 29 ACT
10. 285 PFT
11. Military family

So, he was just told by the local OSO that he is a TOP candidate for the scholarship and his hopes are sky high. I attempted to temper them, but my question is can you make your app better if new things come up to add. Also, he has an opportunity to do a weekend with an artillery battalion at Camp Pendleton through a former classmate.....can this help?

NDROTCDad92: a weekend with an artillery battalion at Camp Pendleton won't help his application but will hopefully help cement his interest. Perhaps he will see my DS who is a HIMARS Platoon Commander in 5/11.

I don't think he can really update his file once it gets sent off - or better said, not sure if it would be necessary unless he retook ACT and moved the needle a lot.

Does the "ND" in your moniker stand for Notre Dame? I was NROTC class of '81.
