Today is the deadline for the application.
My English evaluation and writing samples are still being processed.
In addition my Interview has still not been scheduled. What do I do!

I think the safe and obvious advice would have been not to wait until the last day to find out. Better try and call your ALO I would guess.

I would contact your USAFA Counselor. If items have been submitted but not processes, it just might be that the USAFA Admissions Team is busy. Also, I believe that ALO interviews can follow the deadline as they typically aren't scheduled until you have completed a certain number of application requirements (can't recall the items). Like I mentioned above, I would email your USAFA Counselor or even call if you are able to do it during the day. Good luck.

You may be mistaken. Perhaps it is the deadline for your congressman or senators application, but academy apps are accepted until the end of December.

Deadlines are staggered based off of when applicants submitted their pre-candidate questionnaire. It's a somewhat new method designed to ease the load on admissions staff.

USAFA applications are set up on a rolling basis. The earlier your portal opened up, the earlier your application is due. My DS has a drop dead date in mid November. It is my understanding that you can complete your ALO interview or send in additional test scores and LORs after your deadline... as long as the application was completed prior to the that date. Most of the congressional nomination deadlines have already come and gone. The candidates are about to be in the final stretch, then it will be hurry up and wait for most of them.

I stand corrected. Knowing how slow the process can work, teachers and counselors will be even harder to get things from on time.
