Ethical Dilemma

Hey all,

Quick question... maybe I'm overthinking/overcomplicating things:

One of the prompts for the USAFA application is "Describe a setback or ethical dilemma that you have faced. How did you resolve it? How did the outcome affect you? Most importantly, what did you learn about yourself and how would you handle a similar situation in the future?"

Notice that it says setback OR ethical dilemma. I'm assuming this means I can talk about a setback/failure or something of that sort, completely unrelated to an ethical dilemma?

Any thoughts would be great.

Yes, answer one or the other, not both. This is the same question that has been on the application for at least the last 3 years.

Son is a reapplicant. I just proofread his essay this afternoon. He wrote about a setback.
