First Semester Grades Required for Appointment?

Quick question: My admissions contact at West Point notified me that usually applications are not reviewed until some sort of grades from senior year are submitted, whether that be a progress report or first semester grades. Is this the same case with USAFA? I know this is not the case for Navy...
 
I believe that applications from West Point won't be reviewed until grades from the first sixth semesters of high school are submitted. That is only from freshman year to junior year.

Are first semester grades required to be sent to the Naval Academy, or do you only send them if requested??
 
If you have not received an appointment prior to Xmas expect 7th semester grades to be requested.

Senior year grades including 7th semester grades will be required prior I Day but they are not a requirement for Admissions to make an offer of appointment unless they inform you otherwise.

Many appointments (though not the majority) are made prior to the 7th semester being completed
