So this is my timeline so far as I see in the DODMETS website:

What does "Complete" mean?
You have appointment dates in the system, which is where you want to be. As soon as we begin receiving your exams, this status will change.

Your application will be automatically changed to a status of pending as of 12/14/2017 if your scheduled medical examination records have not been submitted to DoDMERB by your authorized providers.
This is ten (10) calendar days after the date of your latest scheduled exam (12/4/2017).

We a complete set of all of your examination records and they are currently being reviewed by a Concorde case manager. (This is confusing... the orthography is bad but from this I think it means that they *have a complete set of my examination records, BUT when you see below it says they have only received the Physical and the OPTO??)

Case Status Details
Take a screen shot or copy and paste this information to tell Concorde DoDMERB support staff about the status of your application if you need assistance.

Current Status Complete on 12/5/2017 12:46:00 PM
Date Medical Authorization Submitted to DoDMERB 8/10/2017 1:14 PM
Date Medical Authorization Approved by DoDMERB 10/24/2017
Applicant Pending Date (LastExam Date + 10 Days) 12/14/2017
Date Medical Exam Appointment 12/04/2017 11:00 AM

Date Optometric Exam Appointment 11/27/2017 11:00 AM

Date Audio Exam Appointment 11/21/2017 10:00 AM

Exam Forms Received

Test Name Date Received
Fphysical 12/5/2017 7:43:21 AM
OPTO 12/5/2017 12:46:04 PM

So my question is, IS THIS OK AND ACTUALLY COMPLETE or should I call my AUDIO provider and see if they sent the forms? Should I await for or is "AUDIO" a part of the exams forms?

Also, how much time does it take for the Docs to arrive to DODMERB and appear on the site? I mean, it says that DODMERB is reviewing my file but nothing appears yet.

THANK YOU!

it is complete - the audio test is part of the physical - there is no separate entry in Dodmets for it. Now you need to wait for Concorde to review the damn reports and determine whether anything is missing. If it is, your status will change to "Complete-on hold" while they await the additional info from the examiners. In my experience, it took about a week for Concorde to review, a week for whatever additional info they requested to be provided, and then another week for Concorde to review again. Keep monitoring the Dodmets portal to monitor, and don't be afraid to call if it sits too long.

By the way - DoDMETS and Concorde DO NOT give you a qualified/unqualified designation - they merely collect the information, check that it is complete and then submit to DoDMERB. At DoDMERB, you start all over again waiting for someone to review the info and determine whether additional information or examination (referred to as remedials) is required. That takes another 2-4 weeks, assuming everything goes smoothly. If your daughter has any issues, you may want to start collecting medical records now to speed up the potential remedials. Eventually, DoDMERB will determine that that your daughter is either medically qualified or unqualified.

Thank you so much for all the insightful information. I have all my records together and will start the process of looking for physicians letters stating I am ok etc...the examining physician told me that I might need a certification letter for a remedial but told me to hang tight. I am actually the one that is in AFROTC. That's all that is left for me to receive a contract offer and eventually commission.

SOOO I received a message today that Concorde has NOT received my AUDIO as of yet! And here we though it was COMPLETE! Now I took a screenshot and replied them letting them know that I did went to my appointment and that I have a copy of the exam if needed. Do you guys think they will ask for the copy or will they just try to get the results straight from the Doc? I am bummed because the doctor that did my physical actually told me he would send everything himself...seems he forgot that part
:(

interesting....your audio wasn't done at the same time as your physical?

Update I did called Concorde about this after getting a second alert on my email about this and they said to disregard that they did had all my papers. The Status in DODMETS when to complete closed about two days after my call and now I am waiting because it says Remedial Requested on DODMERB but no code or codes yet.

Great news that you are at DODMerb now foxtrot. Give them a couple days to update exactly what the remedial is for. There is a slight time lag with the actual codes appearing. Given it is Christmas and it seems that this is a very busy time for them now I would hold tight until about Wednesday or Thursday. By then you should know what is required for your remedial I would think.

UPDATE: SO I got the remedial codes but

I am scratching my head with this and I need help from you guys:

Here is how my DODMERB page reads verbatim:

Date Event Code(s)
10-AUG-17 Application Added
10-AUG-17 Date applicant entered into DoDMERB system
04-DEC-17 Actual date of exam
18-DEC-17 Date exam reviewed
18-DEC-17 Date exam received at DoDMERB
18-DEC-17 Medical data entry
02-JAN-18 Date exam reviewed
03-JAN-18 Date letter uploaded - Remedial R259.10, R139.99, R261.01

Agency: US Air Force CSB
Cycle Year:2017
Code Description.

R139.99 Please have your physician provide a brief narrative summary of your hypothyroidism, provide current medication dose, state whether it is stable on your current medication dose, and provide copies of your last 2 TSH test results.

R259.10 Applicant pending Disqualification for D223.40 - Current or history of recurrent plantar fasciitis and D223.80 - History of uncorrected anterior or posterior cruciate ligament injury , must complete AMI(s) before waiver processing may be considered.

R261.01 Please obtain thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH)

As you see I was DQ for history of uncorrected ACL injury and history of plantar fasciitis...I was expecting this but I was also expecting them to ask me for further documentation on this two issues and was surprised this did not happen. Is this normal? They just want me to complete my thyroid test and the brief hypothyroidism history from my doctor and then they will consider me for a waiver for those two issues.

I was ready to send in all my records...I think they would actually help my case as my latest knee/ACL MRI shows that I am normal and I could submit my Plantar Fasciitis records which were a one time occurrence along with a letter from my doctor and I know that would help me but I am unsure of what to do.

I am aware that I can submit medical paperwork at any time but SHOULD I WAIT to be asked for it by my waivering authority once they get my AMI's for the thyroid issue or should I go ahead and contact my medical tech about this now???

As a side note while I filled my medical questionaire the system made me fill up additional information in my own words about these two issues and I described my diagnosis and prognosis. I described it pretty well...and I know the doctor did too BUT still I believe the extra docs that I have at the ready would help me.

When I was examined by the doctor they assigned to me (physician) he told me that DODMERB would probably ask for more documentation and that I should wait until they asked to send it in. I had brought all documents with me that day but he refused to send them in and told me to wait instead. He also mentioned that I had great hopes of being qualified because my physical was excellent and he would continue to explain everything in great detail to my benefit.

I am also confused on the R139.99 and R261.01 remedials...I know that two stimulating hormone tests that are in normal ranges MEETS the standard and I do have those two...most recent is from September of 2017 but they are asking for another "NEW" TSH hormone test so I would be sending in that one and the one I took on September I guess. That took me by surprise but is understandable. I am really nervous about that. Hope I am still in normal ranges since I was under a lot of stress during my first semester of AFROTC, I started losing a lot of hair again. Not a good sign and might indicate that my TSH levels are low. Then again I have been like this for a long time and I still get normal range TSH's...hope I get another normal TSH again or I am doomed. :frown:

I also see they are asking about medication...I stated in my paperwork that I am NOT taking any medication (and have not for more than a year) and here they are asking about medication doses...I hope that they don't end up DQ'ing me just because I am not taking any medication. :mad2:

I need opinions and direction please anything is appreciated. :help: Thank you!
