I have been lurking for a while and finally bit the bullet and created an account today. My DD received noms from both Senators, our rep (KY-05) and from JROTC for USMA (total of four). She also had a visit from a cadet from our region over Thanksgiving break encouraging her to continue with her process as there was only one other female in our region who had applied to USMA. Obviously we are excited but trying not to get overconfident. The odd thing is that we have not received a letter or email announcing the nominations from any of the MOCs. They just appeared on the portal starting January 19. Anybody else from KY following this thread?

Also meant to ask in my post above if anyone else has gone two weeks after a nomination and not heard from their MOC in some way?

If yesterday was the deadline for MOC's to submit nominations, does anyone know how many days into February you could expect to see the USNA portal updated with any additional nominations? I would guess there are many states like ours that submit nominations at the last minute, and am sure there is a finite number of USNA staff working on the portal. (btw, we are in a state where you do not necessarily receive personal contact that you've received a nomination)

Mine showed up today, so I'm guessing it shouldn't take too long

Anyone know if Booker and Menendez coordinate nominations for USNA (i.e. agree not to submit any of the same candidates on their respective slates)?
