Surprise! My DD's portal was updated on 1/29 with a "senatorial/2" nom (USNA)! It must be NY Schumer. Anyone else? Anyone actually get a call or letter from his office?
Son received a letter in the mail today from Schumer for USMMA!

DD received nominations from Don Young and Dan Sullivan AK-01 for USMA! + Presidential.

Congrats to you too! Haven’t heard anything yet, but I called both offices last week. Markey said they weren’t notifying until after January 31st and Warren said to keep waiting

MA tends to be the last or near to the deadline than most other States every year

We know a friend in MA that just got call today from MOC with Naval appointment, but does that mean it will defin be charged to that MOC? I thought I had read a lot of shuffling can go on behind the scenes.

I would say it's charged- it's early enough in the timeline for the Academy to charge the MOC and MA tends to be closer towards the deadline with noms. What you may be thinking about is the National Wait List as well as a few other plays that come in for appointments later in the spring. Just my thoughts

Just heard from Senator Warren (MA), nominated to USNA! I hope everyone else hears back soon!

Can I ask what number it says next to your nomination? DS rec’d his Rep nominations back in mid December so we know which one is his. We can’t figure out if MA61 is Markey or Warren?

My nomination from Warren says Congress/Senator 2. Congratulation on your DS’s nomination!

We are in the 5th district. Historically, the 5th district has not been a hugely competitive district. I found some data for the classes of 2009-2012 and Congressman Rogers never submitted a full slate to any of the academies during that time. Some years he submitted zero to USMA. His staffer mentioned this at the orientation we went to during DD's junior year and they are trying to get the numbers up. Of course, I have no idea how many were submitted this year.
