SLE Admission Status 2018

Look like candidate portal is still down. Should I call to find out when the portal will be up again? I got the acceptance letter on the 2/23 while I was in CVW in Naval Academy, thus, I have not able to view the acceptance information on the West Point Candidate Portal yet. I need to find out what session I am in and when do I have to make the payment.

My DD got an email notification offering her session 1 on 15 Feb. The letter in her portal says she has until 10 Mar to submit all the paperwork and payment to lock in her slot.

Since you got accepted a few days ago, your requirement to submit the paperwork and payment shouldn't be earlier than 10 Mar so you have some time.

Yes! But at the Force site my DS got complete in all but the medical is still pending. Wondering when they will update ... it seem their website is always down.

That’s what my portal says, but when I went to my link for SLE REGISTRATION my SLE OFFER KIT was available and ready to complete.

How do you do that with HS?
Our HS does not let out until June 23.
DD got into session 2 at USNA (June 9). She’ll miss school then. I don’t know how she would make up 2 weeks of school if she gets into WP SLE? She takes mostly APs, so AP exams in May- but still finals in June & State No Child Left Behind mandatory testing.

I'm not sure if this will help you, but I spoke with my principal (who, granted, is very supportive of me pursuing Service Academies) and he has worked out a plan with me to take all of my finals early with SLE cutting off the whole week of testing. I recommend having your DD speak with guidance and possibly administration about the issue, for my school at the very least they are super accommodating.
 
Well, I guess we’ll cross that bridge if we get to it. Haven’t heard from WP SLE yet & grateful NASS responded with an acceptance. We’ll hopefully be able to schedule an overnight this Fall at WP. We’ll definitely get up for a tour & cadet visit.

Yes, it’s all been arranged with the teachers and our high school principal!
