Hello,

I currently have 2 nominations to USAFA and received a medical waiver to USNA. However, I did not have any nominations to the Naval Academy but haven't heard anything from the Air Force Academy. The Air Force has not requested any documents or AMI. Should I be worried I was passed up?

Thanks

USAFA is selecting the offers of appointment now. Everything is submitted, right? Your portal has nothing open??

Correct. I have done everything I can I am just playing the waiting game. My portal states my application is complete but medically disqualified. So I am just waiting and hoping I get a waiver.

Same status for DS with USAFA. USMA granted waiver, but no action from USAFA. We are trying hard not to 0bsess over it.

All the best to all!

May I ask what your disqualifications were?

I dislocated my left knee in 2014 and my right knee in 2015 playing baseball. It's says I'm disqualified for a history of instability of knee. I am rather tall so that happening isnt out of the ordinary growing up. Now I am a swimmer and have no issues with my knee so I'm hoping it wont hold me back.

Good Morning! I'm just curious how it worked out for you? My son has had the same knee issues, even surgery for his knee but has been cleared for full activity/contact by his surgeon over a year ago. He is currently in the same category of Application Complete, but medically disqualified.
Thanks
