I emailed my RC, CPT Fatula for the Great Lakes, to ask him if there was a timeline for when appointments would be sent out. I got an automatic reply that he will be out of office until March 14th. Does this mean that I definitely won't be getting any information until the 14th about if I got an appointment or not? The email said to email his technician for immediate assistance, but in the past I have emailed her and received no response, even for pressing questions.

No, it does not mean anything. You will hear between now and 1 May. There is no timeline for appointments. You just have to wait.
Your admissions officer has nothing to do with the notifications of appointment.

It's horrible and like everyone else, my DS and us as parents are looking for any little hint...unfortunately DrMom is exactly right. No timeline, no figuring it out, no subtle hints...just wait.

RC's and admissions techs get overwhelmed with emails and other administrative tasks. Not getting a reply doesn't mean anything.

My now Firstie never heard from his MOC (other than the nomination letter). A BFE arrived in the mail one Saturday. As DrMom said, you may find out (BFE or TWE) anytime in the next few months and you may or may not get a "heads-up" phone call. Be patient and work on Plans B, C, D.

Congrats!! The wait is killing me, I think it's getting to my DD as well.
I fully understand. She was really starting to get worried. It is hard to believe that the wait is over.
I'm so happy for you! I'm really crushed by this wait/weight. - my son is handling it much better than I am! Congratulations!!!

The wait is killing me too! For some odd reason, it seems like no one from Michigan has gotten an appointment at least on this forum (despite being the 10th most populous state).

I’m waiting on my waiver to get processed. I’ve been sitting on “pending waiver review” since January 23rd, and I haven’t heard back since. Is this normal?

DD was in waiver status from late November until just recently, maybe two weeks ago. I would not say that your situation is out of the ordinary. Work the plan B, C, and D..........

My DS has been in 'pending waiver review' status since Dec 27. It appears that Goat 965 DD's waiver took ~3 months. Frustrating wait, for sure! Best of luck to all of those stuck in this spot!

No timeline... my DS #1, applied for USN early admit didn’t heard anything so DS finally emailed admission in April when all he knows have been rejected then few days later, DS got rejection. But DS already accepted his top pick, CGA class of 2020!! DS#2 is doing the same thing this year. #2 is not as competitive but been accepted to more than my #1 for the summer seminar n leader. We waited n waited n waited! I can’t believe I agreed to do it again! Anyway, my DS #1 applied for 3 academies EA. Got nominations ..in February he started plan B..got accepted with full scholarship in Citadel, Georgia Tech, FIT, UF, UCF, n more Fl colleges. Also received 4 yrs Army ROTC. He did accepted rotc and Citadel, won Citadel scholars too! But he was waiting for CGA .. Dec he was wait listed, Feb was move to scholar, April he got full appointment. He wrote a letters to army n Citadel, for no thank you. His Dad called Army a few times before they cancel his paper work but Citadel was easy, 2x calls. So don’t wait start your plan B or may be even plan C!

Yes, took a long time, but she got her waiver..........has not gotten an appointment to USMA yet, but she has a very solid plan B, as she was fortunate to receive a 4 yr. ROTC scholarship, and will run with that in the event that she does not get an appointment. I share the stress and frustration of everyone; it is a grind. I urge all to have a plan B, or C, as the time to develop one shortens. Hang in there!!!

I don’t want to get nosy, but what is her plan B?

So I've stalked their Facebook page (Admissions) - And in years past, and it looks like a large wave went out for the Class of 2017 on 02/22. Also found a large mailing went out on 01/29 for the Class of 2019. So this years seems to be a bit later.....just sharing. Really grasping at straws...The daily mailbox visit might give me a stroke!

I empathize with you. I took this photo of my DS back in 2015 while he was waiting
